Educator E-Collar Humane Dog Training Collar is a revolutionary new system that uses a small, lightweight receiver to deliver stimulation to your dog. I personally used it back in 2019 and just got a new one for my German Shepherd. I’ll be sharing all the cool features and the not-so-good in this review of Educator E-Collar with Remote.

The collar fits comfortably around your dog’s neck and comes with an ergonomic “stopwatch” transmitter for easy use. The Educator E-Collar utilizes the same technology as our Educator Pro but has some unique features including a Pavlovian tone feature which provides an effective addition to the stimulation.

This unit also includes 3 additional boost levels from 1 to 60 that can be selected by turning the dial on the “stopwatch” transmitter. This unit is waterproof and rechargeable.

The Educator E-Collar has 3 modes for different training applications: (1) Tone, (2) Touch, and (3) Continuous Stimulation.   The tone mode emits a single acoustic stimulus at adjustable volume levels to signal your dog to stop undesirable behavior. When using tone mode, start at the lowest volume and increase slowly until you achieve the desired response from your dog.

The 2-pack comes with 6 contact points (5/8″ short hair and 3/4″ long hair), as well as comfort pads for use more than 8 hours a day. For dogs with nickel allergies, hypoallergenic titanium contacts are available in addition to longer-hair and thicker-fur contact points.

Educator Store, the company behind this collar offers a two-year warranty on registered products against manufacturer defects with free live US phone support. It is, however, only available for US Market Only and is NOT for Export.

Features

The Educator E-Collar Humane Dog Training Collar is a great tool for training your dog.

  • It features an innovative ergonomic design, and delivers a tapping sensation similar to vibration, but more intense.
  • You can also select the stimulation level, from 1 to 100, with an additional boost stimulus of 1 to 60.
  • The Pavlovian tone is standard on all models, and the transmitter and receiver are both waterproof.
  • The collar is also shock-resistant and has lithium-polymer rechargeable batteries with a dual charger. Plus, there’s a tracking light for nighttime use.
  • It has a waterproof mini transmitter remote which is 2.64″ diameter x 1.29″ thick

You can use the advanced COS (Control Of Stimulation) to adjust the level of stimulation for your dog. This will make it easier to train them. Educator collars are better than other shock collars because they don’t make the dog scared or uncomfortable. You can adjust the stimulation dial from level 0 to 100, and use the ‘lock and set’ feature to lock in the best level for your dog.

Mini Educator E-Collar Features

Pavilion Tone

Pavlovian Tone is a novel function that adds to the Stim on Stim functionality. When the button is pressed, the dog first hears a 1½ second tone before being stimulated unless the button is released. The tone becomes associated with stimulation, and dogs quickly learn to respond to it.

Ergonomic Design

The Educator Wireless System is a highly versatile system that allows you to keep track of your dog at all times. You don’t even have to look at the transmitter because it has an ergonomic ‘stopwatch’ design. After dark, the tracking light on the transmitter can be used to flash or constantly illuminate the training collar receiver for finding a dog

Educator collars use proprietary stimulation that’s “blunt”, but not “sharp”

This is a more pleasant experience for the dog, but it also provides enough incentive to comply with your commands. Educator has a number of features that make it stand out, including stimulation levels starting at 1 and going all the way up to 100, as well as the ability to adjust a boost level from 1 to 60 to target even the most difficult

COS improves training results

Educator dog training collars incorporate our sophisticated COS (Control Of Stimulation), which allows the owner to precisely regulate the stimulation level for every type of dog temperament.

Regular and Boost Stimulation

Dogs that have been taught with Educator collars seldom vocalize discomfort, shake their heads or are afraid of the training collar, as is common with shock collars from other countries.

Difference between Educator E-Collar and Dogtra collars?

Educator E collar has a digital wireless system, so it doesn’t have a lot of features that Dogtra receivers have. However, the standard transmitter is what distinguishes them from each other because it can be used with all of their current products.

The Educator collar uses a stimulus and an escalating one and the stimulation is adjustable. It has three different modes that can be easily switched by pressing a button. The collar also starts low and then gradually increases in intensity if the dog does not stop misbehaving after 5 seconds of stimulation.

The tone option is an effective way to get your dog’s attention if they are further than sight distance. Educator also has a special feature that allows it to be quiet, so you can put it around their neck without them knowing.

Educator E collar better than dogtra?

Both companies make good products. Dogtra has a number of features that are not present on the Educator transmitter, but most of our receivers will work with both systems. .

What we like about this collar

  1. It uses a tone and vibration before the stimulation. It starts at level 1, where it just gives a small tap to the neck. If your dog does not respond to this, the next level is slightly bigger tap for level 2. You can keep track of what level you are on by looking at the LED light.
  2. If you want your dog to stop barking, this is the best tool for training your dog. It starts off at level 1 and if he barks will give him light vibration. If he continues, it moves up to level 2 which is a bit stronger than the first one. The collar will keep increasing until your dog stops barking.
  3. Educator products are safe
  4. All Educator products are safe, because physical force that is too strong will cause pain and discomfort. Educator collars stimulate with a tapping sensation similar to vibration, but more intense. This does not hurt the dog at all, since the stimulation goes through his coat and not on top of it.
  5. This training collar has a very soft start which makes it much more humane than other training collars. It also has a beep feature that can be used to train your dog.
  6. If you are looking for an affordable, painless and humane method of dog training, Educator E-Collar is the right choice. You will get better results with this training collar compared to other pain training collars.

What some pet owners don’t like about it:

  1. Sometimes it can take a few days before your dog learns that the beep means he has to stop barking.
  2. It also does not have an automatic turn off feature which can be annoying if you are trying to teach your dog a lot in one session.
  3. It’s only available for US customers and is not shipped abroad.

Conclusion

All of the painless training collars on the market today are not as humane as the Educator E-Collar because they use shock, vibration or both to correct your dog’s negative behavior. If you want to achieve effective results with minimal effort for both you and your dog, Educator E-Collar is the best choice.
